Leahy Joins ISE as a Project Manager
Mike Leahy has joined the staff of Inland Seas Engineering, Inc. as a Project Manager. Mr. Leahy is a Geologist with 15 years of experience in environmental consulting and remediation. His experience includes hydrogeological studies, remediation system construction and design, and risk based evaluations. He recently served as Branch Manager for an environmental remediation firm, and was co-owner of a design and construction firm. He has a degree in Hydrogeology from Western Michigan University, and is a Certified Professional Geologist.
ASTM RBCA Training
Two of ISE’s environmental staff members recently completed training in Risk Assessment, Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) and Indoor Vapor Intrusion offered through a collaborative effort between the MDEQ and ASTM. Ken Sams and Mike Leahy attended the training which was held at MPA/MACS headquarters in Lansing, Michigan. RBCA is a comprehensive, streamlined decision process for selecting site-specific, innovative corrective actions which are protective of human health, safety, and the environment. Topics included site characterization, exposure pathway evaluation, risk assessment and risk management.
